Opportunity:
Advanced Practice - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
Full-time locum tenens coverage needed for ongoing CRNA support
Regular hours: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
On-call shifts available: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday scheduled shifts
Weekday call shift begins after scheduled cases (typically 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM until 7:00 AM the following day)
Weekend call shift begins after scheduled cases on Friday (typically 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM), including 24-hour call shifts on Saturday and Sunday
Call coverage required once per week and one weekend per month
Must have full-time availability
Coverage across two locations; outpatient surgery center operates Monday through Friday with no call requirements, while the other site maintains 24/7 call for general surgery and OB
Procedures include: general anesthesia, epidurals (preferred), regional nerve blocks (preferred), central lines (preferred), and MAC
No cardiac or neuro cases
Preferred skills include: spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia, obstetrical cases, complex orthopedic cases, thoracic cases, complex vascular cases, ventilation management, arterial line placement, and pain management techniques
30-minute unpaid lunch break
No stipends provided and no guaranteed daily hours
Overtime applies after daily scheduled shift
Board certification required; BLS certification required
