Locums - Belfast, Maine Anesthesiology Opportunity
Clinical Role
Seeking a Board Certified Anesthesiologist for an ongoing locums opportunity in Belfast, Maine. Full-time availability is preferred, although candidates offering less than full-time coverage will be considered. Physicians perform their own cases with no CRNA supervision required. IMLC accepted.
Assignment Details
Start Date: ASAP; estimated credentialing timeframe of 60-90 daysSchedule: 7:00 am-3:30 pmWeeknight Call: Approximately every third night; flexibleWeekend Call: 24-hour call approximately 1 weekend per monthCall Response Time: 30 minutesCase Volume: Approximately 14-16 surgical cases per day, including endoscopyAnesthesia Sites: Three sites operating daily, including OR and endoscopyPatient Population: Ages 3+OB: Approximately 4-6 deliveries per month; anesthesiologists may leave after epidural initiation but must remain available for callbackProcedures: Adult general surgery, minor nerve blocks, plexus anesthesia, epidural, spinal and regional anesthesia, obstetrical cases, acute pain management, arterial line insertion, and management of acute volume/BP issuesTrauma: NoneEMR: EpicRequirements: Board Certified; experience with Epic requiredLicensure: Active Maine license or active IMLC LOQ highly preferredVaccinations: COVID and flu vaccination required What's great about Belfast, Maine?
