Opportunity Highlights Schedule: Day shift; 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts available; overtime offered but not expectedJob Setting: Hospital (8 Anesthesia Rooms); charting via EpicTypes of Cases: General, Neuro, Ortho; required specialties include General, OB, and PediatricsCredentialing: Estimated 40-60 days; emergency privileges (under 30 days) and temporary privileges (30-60 days) available Responsibilities Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia DepartmentResponsible for the medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical proceduresPre-anesthesia assessmentObtain and/or verify patient consentDiscuss anesthetic options and risks with the patientInduction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesiaMonitoring of the patient's physiological conditionPerformance of clinical intervention as needed Minimum Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certification requiredCertifications: ECFMG and FLEX; completion of approved residency in AnesthesiaLicensure: M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine; currently licensed as a Physician; candidates needing to obtain state license will be consideredOther: Must be able to supervise CRNAs About VISTA Staffing A ClearlyRated Best of Staffing Client and Talent 10-Year Diamond Award winner, VISTA has 30 years of experience optimizing continuity of care for hospitals, medical practices and government agencies across the US.
