Job description
Locums Anesthesiology coverage in California with weekday OR work plus home call, including post call relief after weekday call shifts. You will supervise residents and fellows in a non cardiac OR setting.

Practice Setting
Inpatient, non cardiac OR coverage
Adult patient population, 18+
Robust anesthesia tech support, plus residents and fellows in the OR
Case volume varies, weeknight and weekend volume varies
Schedule
Monday through Friday weekday coverage plus weekend call
Home call required, 30 minute response time, weekend call included
Typical full time coverage is about 18-20 shifts/month
Variable shift durations, post call day after weekday call shifts
Cases and Procedures
General anesthesia for non cardiac surgical cases
Level 2 trauma general cases
Supervise residents and fellows in the OR, 1:2 model
Requirements
Must be an MD or DO
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
California medical license required, will not wait for license
ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
