Job description
We re seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) for a 6-month locum assignment in Potsdam, New York , with ongoing coverage needs.
Position Highlights Location: Potsdam, NY
Start Date: October 19, 2026
Duration: 6 months, ongoing as needed
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
Call: Weekday call 3:00 PM 7:00 AM
Weekend Call: Friday 7:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM
Rural/critical access setting
Emergency privileges available
Immediate Coverage Needs Oct : No weekday call
Nov 5 13: Weekend call Nov 6 8 + weekday call Nov 10 & 12
Dec : Urgent holiday call coverage needed Dec
Practice Details Inpatient anesthesia
OB anesthesia & epidurals
General anesthesia
Scheduled surgeries
Possible CRNA supervision
Approximately patients/day
Epic EMR
Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Active NY license in hand
BLS, ACLS & PALS
AHA or RQI certifications
Epic experience required
Comfortable working in a rural/critical access setting
Must have current work history with no gaps of 30+ days
Residents and fellows cannot be considered
