An exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for an anesthesiologist at a medical center in Plattsburgh, NY. You'll play a vital role in the perioperative setting, managing anesthesia care for various surgical procedures. This position requires flexibility, as you may be scheduled for call and weekend shifts, particularly during the winter holidays.

Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week, with potential to increase to 48 hours with weekend and call duty

Job Responsibilities Administering anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Monitoring patients during surgery and providing postoperative care as needed.
Collaborating with surgical and medical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Qualifications Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
Valid medical license to practice in New York.
Proven experience in a hospital or surgical setting preferred.
Working Hours Days, with occasional call and weekend shifts required.
Skills Proficiency in various anesthesia techniques and procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with medical staff and patients.
Ability to manage stress and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations.
