Job description
Locums Anesthesiology Physician in Richmond, Indiana - Eight Hour Shifts, Broad Case Mix
Work defined daytime coverage blocks with a varied anesthesia scope, manageable daily volume, and additional coverage anticipated into 2027.
Highlights
Eight hour daytime shifts
Additional coverage anticipated into 2027
Approximately 9 to 10 adult patients per day
Limited healthy pediatric volume
Practice & Cases
Inpatient anesthesiology with one assistant
General anesthesia, OB, vascular surgery, and cath lab cases
Healthy pediatrics and occasional non-operating room anesthesia
Basic nerve blocks
Schedule
Daytime eight hour shifts
Multiple multi-day coverage blocks
Weekend call included during one assigned block
Full commitment to the requested blocks preferred
Requirements
Must be an MD or DO
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Anesthesiology
Active Indiana license or active IMLC LOQ required
BLS required, with ACLS required for conscious sedation privileges
