The Role:
Location: Montrose - Richmond, VA
Assignment duration: 6 - 12 months
Shift Type: Night Float (7p-7a, in house); Day shift 07:00 A-03:30 P
Shift Lengths: 8 hours: Available; 10 hours: Available; 12 hours: Preferred
In House Call: Required
Cases: General, Neuro, Ortho, OB, Peds
OT: Not expected
Site Charting System: Epic
Number of Anesthesia Rooms: 30
Are MDs supervising CRNAs: Yes
What is the CRNA to MD ratio: 1 to 4
Are MDs doing their own cases: Yes
Willing to accept candidates that need to obtain state license: No
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
Responsibilities: Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department; medical management of patients during anesthesia including pre-anesthesia assessment, consent verification, discussing anesthetic options and risks, induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia, physiological monitoring, and clinical intervention as needed.
