Compensation:
Hourly: $350/hr
Weeknight Call: $470 per 24 hours
24 Hour Weekend Call: $1950 per 24 hours
Weeknight Call Call Back: $350/hr
24 Hour Weekend Call Call Back: $350/hr
Schedule
Monday-Friday
Regular Hours: 6:30 AM-3:30 PM or 5:30 PM
Weeknight Call: Monday-Friday, 5:30 PM-7:00 AM
Weekend Call: Saturday-Sunday, 7:00 AM-7:00 AM (24-Hour Coverage)
Weeknight and Weekend Call Required
Full-Time and Part-Time Availability Considered
Post-Call Providers May Be Released Early in the Afternoon When Possible

Average Daily Surgical Volume: 16-20 Cases, Excluding Add-On Cases
Busy Initial Operating Room Case Schedule
Additional Cases May Occur Later in the Day
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide Anesthesia Services for Adult and Pediatric Patients
Primarily Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs)
Provide Hands-On Anesthesia Care When Required
Perform General and Regional Anesthesia
Provide Anesthesia for Orthopedic Procedures
Perform Basic Orthopedic Regional Blocks
Manage Perioperative Anesthesia Care
Conduct Preoperative Anesthesia Evaluations
Monitor Patients During Surgical Procedures
Manage Anesthesia-Related Complications
Provide Post-Anesthesia Care
Participate in Weeknight and Weekend Call Coverage
Collaborate With Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, Surgeons, and Perioperative Staff
Document Patient Care in Epic

Ability to Perform Basic Orthopedic Blocks - Required
Willingness to Provide Weeknight Call - Required
Willingness to Provide 24-Hour Weekend Call - Required
ACLS Certification - Required
Pennsylvania Medical License Required Before Practice
