Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist - Washington, PA (15301) Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist in Washington, PA - MD/DO with an active Pennsylvania medical license; full-time 12-hour shifts. Join a transitioning private practice joining a larger healthcare system and provide high-quality anesthesia care across general, pediatric, obstetric, cardiac, pain, and critical care cases.

Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $10,700 - $11,280 Location: Washington, Pennsylvania (15301)

• Employment Type: Locum tenens (travel contract)

• Start Date: August 1, 2026

• End Date: October 31, 2026

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Shift: Full-time, 12-hour shifts PLUS CALL

• Hours per Week: 36

• Specialties: General Anesthesia, Cardiac, Pediatric, Obstetric, Pain Medicine, Critical Care, Regional/Nerve Blocks

Job Requirements / Qualifications MD or DO degree required Active state medical license in Pennsylvania (PA) Comfortable providing anesthesia across a broad case mix: general, cardiac, pediatric, obstetric, pain medicine, and critical care Experience with nerve blocks and regional anesthesia techniques Willingness to participate in call coverage Strong teamwork and communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration during department transition Primary Responsibilities Deliver safe, evidence-based anesthesia care for a variety of surgical and procedural cases Provide general, pediatric, obstetric, cardiac, pain medicine, and critical care anesthesia services as needed Perform nerve blocks and advanced regional anesthesia techniques Participate in call coverage and perioperative consultations Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and ancillary staff during a department transition into a larger healthcare system Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to institutional policies and safety protocols Why apply: Competitive weekly pay for locum tenens anesthesia, a diverse clinical caseload, and the opportunity to support a department during an important transition in Washington, PA.
