Hiring Range: $447,000 - $520,000

The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Group, seeks a Community Based Practice Anesthesiologists to join our ambulatory team. Our competitive compensation and benefits package places us as your top choice in the region.

Key Highlights

Flex position between community hospital and ambulatory surgical center in the Worcester area

Case mix: Ortho, gen surg, urology, plastics, GI. No pediatric or OB required

Home Call only, required 1 weekday call per week, 1 weekend call per month

Built in post call days to ensure work life balance

Orthopedic surgery heavy practice, regional anesthesia skills required

You will have supervision of CRNAs in the anesthesia care team model.

You may take part in educating our residents in a fully integrated, outstanding training program.

We offer opportunities to participate in education and medical simulation, QI work and research.

The anesthesia team conducts an average of 60,000 anesthetics per year across our Medical Center

Qualifications

Must hold a MD or DO degree and qualify for a Massachusetts license

Be board certified or board eligible in anesthesiology

Schedule: Full-Time

UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a dedicated and compassionate Academic Newborn Hospitalist to join our growing team. Our competitive compensation and benefits package places us as your top choice in the region.

Key Highlights

Provide comprehensive medical care for infants in a 22-bed Continuing Care Nursery (CCN) within a 49-bed Level III NICU at UMass Memorial Medical Center, as well as a 28-bed postpartum unit and 12-bed Level 1B Special Care Nursery at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham, MA.

Attend high-risk deliveries as part of a multidisciplinary team with neonatology support and collaboration.

Perform neonatal procedures including intubation, central line placement, lumbar puncture, and thoracentesis.

Conduct inpatient antenatal consultations addressing prematurity, neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome (NOWS), and maternal medical conditions impacting neonatal care.

Provide bedside teaching and mentorship to medical trainees including medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers.

Qualifications:

Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics

Must hold a MD or DO degree and qualify for a Massachusetts license
