Job description
Position Purpose
Associate Veterinarian (DVM) – All Experience Levels Welcome!
Location
Animal Medical Center of Troy, 40 Professional Pkwy, Troy, MO 63379
Responsibilities
Examine and treat companion animals to determine the nature of disease or injuries.
Operate diagnostic equipment, collect diagnostic samples, and interpret results.
Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
Perform surgeries and prescribe medication as needed.
Provide counsel regarding pet end‑of‑life care.
Maintain patients’ medical records.
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
Appropriate state licensure in Missouri.
Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD credentials.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients.
Physical ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds, and with assistance for amounts over 25 pounds.

$100,000 - $120,000 per year
