AOI Operator/ProgrammerPrecision Meets Technology—Join Our Team as an AOI Operator/Programmer and Make an Impact.Domestic contract manufacturer based in Oregon, specializing in product development, prototyping, and scaling hardware production for startups and OEMs.AOI Operator/Programmer DetailsTemp-to-Hire position$21.00/hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)Operate AOI equipment to inspect PCB assemblies for defects including missing components, misalignment, polarity & orientation errors, solder defects and tombstoning.Create, edit, and optimize AOI inspection programs from YCD files, BOMs and physical boards; tune inspection parameters to minimize false calls while maintaining defect coverage.Document inspection results, defect data & provide feedback to SMT and reflow.Fill out defect trackers for rework associates when applicable.Maintain inspection programs under revision control & update programs as engineering changes or board revisions occur while following our internal change control processes.Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration checks & basic troubleshooting; escalate equipment issues as needed to tech department.Communicate inspection findings & quality trends to production & quality personnel.Support continuous improvement efforts & maintain compliance with the company's quality management system.AOI Operator/Programmer QualificationsWorking knowledge of SMT assembly processes & common assembly defects.Ability to read & interpret assembly guides & BOMs.Familiarity with IPC-A-610 acceptability standards or willingness to obtain certification.Strong attention to detail.Basic computer proficiency & comfortable learning inspection software.Able to work independently & communicate effectively with production & quality teams.Applicant may be subject to a background check.
