Job description
The Agency of Transportation seeks an AOT Manager II to launch and manage sustainability initiatives in the transportation sector, including electric vehicle adoption, energy consumption, pollution reduction, and resilience planning. The role involves establishing business processes, conducting technical analyses, managing contractors and budgets, coordinating with stakeholders, and advising leadership on policy development and legislative proposals.
Key qualifications:
Associate degree and five years of management experience in program development, goal planning, program evaluation, or budget preparation
OR High school diploma and seven years of management experience in the same areas
Experience with technical analyses, GIS, project management, and public administration
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Critical thinking and ability to foster positive working relationships
Private means of transportation required
