AP Clerk / BookkeeperA growing and stable organization in the Cartersville, GA area is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support financial operations.The AP Clerk/Bookkeeper will manage accounts payable, assist with general ledger entries, reconcile accounts, and support daily accounting functions.This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with standard business hours.The position is based onsite in Cartersville, Georgia.This role is open due to company growth and the need to enhance the efficiency of the accounting department.Professional office setting with a collaborative and team-oriented culture.$48,000 – $58,000 annually based on experience, along with a competitive benefits package.The AP Clerk/Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments while supporting overall accounting operations.Key responsibilities include:Processing accounts payable invoices and ensuring timely and accurate paymentsReconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepanciesAssisting with month-end close activities and journal entriesMaintaining organized financial documentation and recordsSupporting internal audits and reporting processesQualifications include:2+ years of experience in accounts payable or bookkeepingStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft ExcelAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesStrong communication and problem-solving skills
