Accounts Payable Specialist
We're recruiting for an Accounts Payable Specialist with a growing, venture-backed biotech manufacturer in Avon Lake, OH. You'd run your own high-volume AP workload (PO and non-PO, fully electronic) and play a hands-on role as the company consolidates multiple divisions onto a new ERP and procurement platform. This is a build-phase seat with real ownership, not a maintenance role.
Base is $30-$36/hr plus overtime, with full benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with 6% employer match, tuition reimbursement, and 21+ days of PTO plus 10 holidays. If your background includes high-volume P2P work in a fast-moving environment, apply now!
Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Avon Lake, OH, fully onsite, 5 days/week
Compensation: $30-$36/hr, hourly/non-exempt, overtime expected + full benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with 6% match, tuition reimbursement, 21+ days PTO + 10 holidays)
Must-Haves:
3+ years of hands-on Procure-to-Pay experience: PO matching, 3-way match, and invoice coding
Comfortable with high volume (50+ invoices/day, mix of PO and non-PO)
Comfortable in an evolving process environment with a systems implementation underway
Able to work independently with minimal in-person oversight
Strong Pluses:
ERP or procurement software experience (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Zip)
Multi-entity or multi-division AP experience
Credit card and expense processing experience
Freight or logistics invoice coding
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
