Job description
Our client, a global luxury retail company, is looking for an AP Specialist to join their team! This will be an onsite role working out of their office in Midtown Manhattan. The successful candidate will possess working knowledge of GAAP, have strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills to interact with various internal and external stakeholders.

Role Overview: Contract Role: 2 months
Pay: $32-35/hr W2 (No C2C or 1099)
Schedule: Hybrid, 4 days onsite, 1 day remote, standard 40-hour work week
Responsibilities: Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice review, coding, and data entry
Review, audit, and process expense reports and corporate card transactions
Reconcile vendor accounts and statements, research discrepancies, and resolve payment issues
Prepare and manage vendor payments while maintaining accurate records
Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and accrual support
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
2-4 years of corporate accounts payable experience
Prior experience working in the fashion, beauty, or retail industry is preferred
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
