Job description
The AP Taxing Specialist collaborates with the Accounts Payable Supervisor to manage tax-related aspects of financial transactions. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $50,000 to $62,000 per year.
Responsibilities:
Calculate sales and use taxes on invoices from suppliers/vendors
Data entry of vendor invoices and invoice posting
Daily review of unapproved invoice entries
Review invoice coding for accuracy, proper approvals, and reasonableness
Review matching of invoice details to purchase orders and collaborate to resolve issues
Process expense claims using third-party expense management software
Qualifications: Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Competency in common office software, including Microsoft Office products, PDF manipulation, and scanning
Minimum 2-5 years of experience
