Job description
Job TitleThe purpose of this position is to perform tasks to ensure all work instructions related to the assembly of standard SMC products and simple specials are followed.Essential DutiesAdherence to all department work instructionsEnsure the respective area is compliant with 5S standardsProcess all paperwork necessary associated with established assembly standardsExecute basic to advanced workflow tasks on established SMC systemsAssembles and tests standard SMC products and simple specialsAbility to interpret and apply simple special documentationUnderstanding of SMC's part numbering systemUnderstanding and application of physical bin systemAbility to complete inventory transactions consistent with established work instructionsAdherence to all safety rulesAdherence to all Quality Management system standards and policiesAll other duties as assignedPhysical Demands/Work EnvironmentPhysical demands require the person to regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.The person is frequently required to climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch, or crawl.
