Apartment Maintenance TechnicianLocation: West Seneca, NY areaPay: $22–$25 per hour, based on experience and certificationsSchedule: Full-timeCompany vehicle provided for work-related travelIf you know your way around apartment repairs and take pride in fixing things correctly, we'd like to meet you.We're hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to support residential communities in and around West Seneca. You'll handle service requests, prepare apartments for new residents, complete preventive maintenance, and help keep each property safe and running smoothly.This is a good fit for someone who enjoys variety, can work independently, and knows how to communicate professionally with residents and coworkers. You'll join an established property management company with supportive leadership and room to grow.What You'll DoYour work will include:Responding to maintenance requests in occupied apartmentsCompleting apartment turns between residentsDiagnosing and repairing plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, doors, locks, and other building componentsPainting, patching, and completing general carpentry repairsPerforming preventive maintenance and identifying problems before they become larger repairsAssisting with HVAC troubleshooting and repairsTraveling to nearby sister properties when needed using a company-provided vehicleParticipating in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergenciesCommunicating clearly and respectfully with residents, vendors, and property management staffKeeping tools, equipment, work areas, and the company vehicle clean and safeWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone dependable, resourceful, and comfortable handling a range of residential repairs.Preferred qualifications include:At least 1–3 years of residential maintenance experienceMultifamily or apartment maintenance experienceHands-on experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, and general repairsBasic HVAC knowledge; EPA certification is a plusStrong troubleshooting and time-management skillsAbility to work independently and manage changing prioritiesProfessional communication and customer service skillsWillingness to participate in an on-call rotationAbility to travel between nearby properties as assignedPosition RequirementsValid driver's license and a driving record that meets company standardsReliable transportation to and from workAbility to safely perform the physical duties of the position, including lifting up to 50 poundsAbility to complete the company's standard pre-employment process and verification of job-related requirementsPay and Benefits$22–$25 per hour, based on relevant experience, certifications, HVAC knowledge, apartment maintenance background, and overall technical abilityCompany vehicle provided for work-related travelStable, full-time employmentOpportunities to learn new skills and advance within the companySupportive leadership and a team that values dependable workA varied workload—so you won't spend every day doing the same repairBuild Your Career With UsGood maintenance technicians make a real difference.
