Service Advisor OpportunityMidas of Acton is looking for a Service Advisor to join our team. Candidate must be familiar with vehicle service and be customer service oriented and sales oriented. Prior experience a plus but willing to train the right candidate. We need a team player, with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and participate in training to excel and bring customer service to the next level. This is a great opportunity to join a busy shop, with a progressive and proactive team and management. Benefits include 401k, health insurance, and paid time off two weeks per year. Sign on bonus will be discussed at time of interview.ResponsibilitiesAs a Midas automotive service writer, you will manage and direct all automotive and general service technicians in the operation of the shop, including:Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customersFollowing up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.Oversee complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendations—building computerized repair orders and sourcing partsDeliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specialsOversee technicians' inspections, diagnosing and repairing of domestic, European and Asian cars and light trucksMaintain inventory countsOverall cleanliness and organization of the facilityOther duties as assignedQualificationsGeneral automotive knowledgeExcellent customer service dispositionGood communication skillsLeadership abilityTeam building skillsAbility to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings and holidaysValid driver's licenseBenefitsCompetitive compensation with paid training5-day work week; Closed on Sunday80 hours of Paid Time OffHealth, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance with employer contribution401K with Employer Matching Funds up to 6% (Dollar to Dollar match)Advancement OpportunitiesWeekly pay/Direct depositWe cover uniform expenses
