We’re seeking a passionate and driven Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Psychiatry team in Livonia, Michigan . This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
Opportunity Details
Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Shared panel model utilized. Small portion of FTE is allocated to support inbox management and supporting intake assessments for level of care determination.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00‑5:00 PM Flexibility available in FTE distribution
Location: Livonia, Michigan
Specialty: Psychiatry
Hospital Info: Clinic supports a residency program with close collaboration alongside faculty. Includes support from psychotherapists
Team Size: 3 attending physicians and 9 residents

Requirements
Psychiatric experience required
Requirement for NPs: PMHNP
Graduate-level experience for PAs
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and engagement
APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
DEA license
BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
Providing direct patient care
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Participating in teaching and mentoring
Documenting in Epic EMR
Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
Supporting community health efforts
Supporting management of inbox
Additional opportunities to perform psycho‑social intake assessments
