Job description
App Dev - Java - Lead (Back end developer)
Location: Wilmington, DE /McLean, VA/ Richmond, VA / NYC (Hybrid- 3 days onsite in a week)

Must have Skills: Java, Scala, Spark
AWS Pipeline Experience - Hands-on with S3, Glue, Step Functions, and Lambda across multi-stage data pipelines.
Event-Based Architecture - Understand EventBridge rules and S3 event notifications. Know how to handle reruns from event-based triggers.
Step Functions - Understand state machine scheduling and downstream job synchronization.
Glue and Scaling - Comfortable with Glue job configuration and scaling. Self-researched Glue 4.0 Iceberg limitations when he encountered them.
Data Quality - Built a validation component for data security; understands schema drift and backfill handling.
Interviews: Two rounds (tech and team fit) 1 hour zoom video interviews
