nCorewell Health, Michigan’s largest health system, is seeking full time and part time CAAs to join our dedicated team. Step into a highly specialized cardiac and vascular anesthesia team at Corewell Health’s Meijer Heart & Vascular Institute, part of a nationally recognized center of excellence.
nnnComplex endovascular procedures (TEVAR, carotid stents, branched aortic repair)
n
nnState of the Art electrophysiology procedures
n
n nThis is a high-acuity, team-oriented environment where anesthesiology, critical care, surgery, and cardiology collaborate deeply. Our CAAs are integrated, respected members of the heart team.
nWhat You’ll Do
nnnProvide high-level anesthetic care for cathlab and major vascular procedures
n
nnNo call required. Opportunity to do elective call shifts available
n
nnWork in collaborative practice model
n
nn40 hour work week in four 10 hour shifts or two 8s and two 12s.
n
n nQualifications
nnnRequired master’s degree Master of Science in Anesthesiology (MSA) or Master of Medical Science
n
nnCRT-At least one License and/or Certification in area of specialty - UNKNOWN Unknown National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistant (NCCAA) upon hire required
n
nnCRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required
n
nn1 year of experience in high-acuity ORs preferred; new grads with strong clinical rotations are welcome to apply
n
nnFlexibility, teamwork, and commitment to high standards of care are essential
