IMS is currently seeking a full-time, APP Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care department in Payson.
Essential Functions
Provide patient services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Perform patient assessments, diagnosis & treatment plans, physical examinations, consultations, patient counseling/education, family planning, and well-woman exams
Order and interpret patient care tests, treatments and exams
Handle prescription needs, provide advice regarding chronic pain problems, general health education and coordination of care
Education And Licensure
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant educational program and passage of board‑approved certifying exam
Must possess a license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Arizona
Experience
One year of experience in Primary Care is required
