Job description
APP- Warm Hearth Family Medicine - Part Time
Part‑time APP (NP or PA) opportunity with Carilion Family Medicine at Warm Hearth in Blacksburg. Team approach with autonomous practice with off‑site physician oversight. Variable hours Monday‑Friday 8‑5. A minimum of 3 years of experience is required.
Requirements
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of practice.
Licensure/Certification: Current state Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LNP), DEA license, RN licensure required. AHA BLS‑HCP certification required. Advanced Life Support preferred.
Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with state regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Boards of Nursing and Medicine.
Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other health‑care providers.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Computer literacy for electronic medical records.
Compensation
Base pay ranges from $107,993.60 to $172,785.60. Compensation is based on qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The range does not include benefits or pension plan.
