Job description
Day-To-Day
Review customer specifications, drawings, and electrical requirements.
Determine what switchgear, transformers, and related equipment the customer needs.
Create proposal packages, layouts, single-line drawings, and cost estimates.
Work with vendors to get pricing for equipment and components.
Partner with the sales team to explain the solution to customers and support negotiations.
Hand the project off to the execution/project management team once the job is awarded.

Must Haves
5+ years of experience with medium-voltage power distribution equipment.
Strong understanding of switchgear and/or transformers.
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
Experience turning customer requirements into technical solutions and cost proposals.
Nice-to-Haves
Engineering degree (Electrical or Mechanical).
Experience creating technical proposals or bids.
Familiarity with electrical industry standards (ANSI, IEEE, UL, NEMA). xhmxlyz
Experience with AutoCAD, Visio, or similar drawing software.
