Job description
Summary
Serves as a representative dealing with internal and external customers including factories and vendors on day-to-day business matters. Responsibilities include providing technical assistance/support, factory support, technical product support and meeting with vendors on order status updates.
Essential Duties
Technical product selection and documentation based on customer processing conditions.
Using provided software for sizing and selection of products based off of published flow curves (Cv), torques, processing conditions, IEC valve equations, and bulletins.
Challenged daily to expand technical knowledge.
Ability to troubleshoot customer applications and products.
Responsible for quoting customers in a timely manner which includes, product selection, lead-time, and pricing.
Work closely with and support the JHC product manufactures
Attend and participate in required trainings
Participate in the after hour and weekend ‘On-Call’ rotation
Be a team player, and work well as group
Always build and cultivate solid relationships
Education and/or Work Experience
Minimum 2+ years of sales or engineering experience
BS in an Engineering Discipline is optimal
In absence of engineering degree, relative industry experience is sufficient.
