LVMWD — a nationally recognized leader in water and wastewater services — is seeking its first-ever Applications Analyst to join our Finance & Technology team.
This brand-new role puts you at the center of it all:
Manage and optimize enterprise business applications across the District — from utility billing and financials to work orders and asset management.
Drive improvements to business processes and deliver faster, smarter outcomes for staff and customers.
Collaborate with departments, vendors, and IT teams to keep critical systems running at peak performance.
Lead projects from procurement and configuration through implementation and training.

Any combination of training and experience, which demonstrates attainment of the required knowledge and ability to perform the required work (with reasonable accommodation, if needed), typically:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of experience supporting enterprise business applications, including application configuration, implementation, troubleshooting, reporting, systems integration, and user support.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
A valid California Class C Driver’s License must be maintained at all times.
DESIRED CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
Cloud and platform development certification such as Microsoft PL-400 Power Platform Developer Associate, CompTIA Cloud+, and CompTIA Server+
Data and database management certification such as Microsoft DP-300 Azure Database Administrator Associate and CompTIA Data+
Business Analysis certification such as IIBA Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) and IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
