Applications Engineer (3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing)Location: Redmond, WA (onsite) FTEWe are seeking a skilled Applications Engineer with experience in 3D Printing (Additive Manufacturing) to support the development, validation, and implementation of innovative printing applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineering, R&D, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery of application development milestones, evaluate new materials and processes, and provide technical documentation for customer and internal use.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver application development projects and milestones within defined timelines.Design, develop, and validate 3D printing applications for customer and internal engineering requirements.Create prototype integration reports for new materials, printing technologies, and manufacturing processes.Evaluate the performance, feasibility, and scalability of additive manufacturing solutions.Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including application guides, process documentation, testing reports, and best practices.Collaborate with R&D, product development, and manufacturing teams to optimize printing workflows and application performance.Participate in OAMT (Operational Additive Manufacturing Team) meetings by providing technical updates, recommendations, and engineering insights.Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives for additive manufacturing technologies.Troubleshoot application issues and recommend process improvements for enhanced efficiency and quality.Support customer demonstrations, proof-of-concept activities, and technical evaluations when required.Stay updated with emerging trends, materials, and technologies in additive manufacturing.
