Applied Behavior Technician (PT) (After School Program)
Overview
We are seeking individuals who are energetic, compassionate, fun, and dedicated to changing the lives of children and families. We provide focused based intervention based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Our technicians work 1:1 with six to twelve year old children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. They are responsible for implementing natural environment teaching (NET) and discrete trial training (DTT), as directed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). In addition, our techs facilitate play and social interaction, as well as design and conduct exciting daily small group activities in a fun, engaging environment.

Status/Hours: Part-Time, Tuesday-Thursday, 11:45-6:30p (average 12-24 hrs per week, depending on availability) (Team Meetings Wednesdays at 11a)
Pay Rate : $18-20 w/o RBT Certification , $19-21 w RBT Certification
Example ABA session :
Qualifications: High school diploma required
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Prior experience working with ASD population is preferred
Prior experience working with children is preferred
