Job description
Weyerhaeuser is seeking an Applied R&D Engineer to advance innovative, sustainable wood products and manufacturing processes. In this role, you will design and run experiments, analyze lab and mill data, and translate findings into scalable improvements in product performance, quality, and cost. You’ll partner closely with mill operations, product engineering, and sustainability teams to pilot and implement technologies across North American facilities. This position blends hands-on experimentation, statistical analysis, and field support, all within a culture that prioritizes safety, integrity, collaboration, and environmental stewardship.
