Appointment SchedulerJoin our dynamic team and be the first point of contact that shapes our clients' experiences! We're seeking a detail-oriented appointment scheduler to enhance our service experience.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:Schedule patient appointmentsCancel and reschedule appointments as necessaryConsult patients regarding participating status of various insurance contractsTake messages for physicians and medical assistantsChecks HMO encounters for authorizationsSchedules/confirms interpretersInsurance verification (E & B)Help front office staff with overflow workCover front office staff (sick/vacation)Respond to all enquiries through text messaging softwareProcess payments in eCW for copays, balances, or past due debtOther duties as assignedRequirements:Skills and attributes:Outstanding communication skillsGood organizational skillsExcellent sense of customer/patient serviceGood problem-solving skillsEducation and/or experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and twelve to eighteen months related experience and/or training in call center/customer service; or equivalent combination of education and experience
