This full-time role involves managing patient appointment scheduling to ensure smooth operations and high satisfaction for both patients and providers.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily patient scheduling through telephone, electronic, and face-to-face interactions with professionalism and efficiency.Collaborate closely with the registration team to streamline check-in and check-out processes, enhancing patient experience and accuracy.Maintain clear and proactive communication with medical staff and supporting departments, promptly addressing any scheduling concerns.Handle requests, complaints, and communications with discretion, diplomacy, and sound judgment.Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to support organizational goals.Manage automated appointment reminder systems to reduce no-shows.Perform physical tasks associated with the role and maintain consistent attendance.EducationHigh school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in business or healthcare-related field is preferred.Experience and SkillsProven problem-solving and planning abilities.Capability to instruct both professional and non-professional personnel.Strong collaboration and management skills with internal and external stakeholders.Effective oral and written communication skills across all organizational levels.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
