Appointment Scheduling SpecialistMilo, IA $38,029 - $48,099 a yearWe are seeking a dedicated Appointment Scheduling Specialist to join a dynamic healthcare team in the Midwest region. This full-time role involves managing patient appointment scheduling with a focus on efficiency and excellent customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily patient scheduling through telephone, electronic, and face-to-face interactions.Collaborate closely with the registration team to ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes, enhancing patient satisfaction and accuracy.Maintain clear and proactive communication with medical staff and supporting departments, promptly addressing any scheduling concerns.Handle requests, complaints, and communications with professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy.Participate in process improvement initiatives to support organizational goals.Manage the automated appointment reminder call program.Perform physical tasks associated with the role and maintain consistent attendance.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; associate degree in business or healthcare-related field preferred.Proven problem-solving and planning abilities.Experience instructing both professional and non-professional personnel is a plus.Skills and RequirementsStrong collaboration and management skills with internal and external stakeholders.Effective oral and written communication skills at all organizational levels.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
