Apprentice Electrician – Build Your Career in Commercial Power and Control SystemsYou will work alongside experienced Journeymen and Foremen to master commercial power, lighting, and control systems. This role allows you to build a long-term technical career while gaining hands-on field experience with a company that invests in your growth. You will develop your trade skills in a supportive, safety-focused environment built on trust and teamwork.Assist licensed Journeymen with installing commercial conduit, wiring, and electrical distribution equipment.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite by following all company safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.Operate basic power tools, hand tools, and material handling equipment with precision and care.Prepare wire pulls, junction boxes, and panel terminations under direct field supervision.Inspect incoming project materials and tools to ensure the jobsite remains fully stocked and efficient.Demonstrate a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and commitment to representing company values.3+ years of hands-on electrical experience in commercial environments.Active Texas Apprentice Electrician License and a valid driver's license.Solid understanding of basic electrical theory, National Electrical Code (NEC), and jobsite safety.Ability to read basic schematics, electrical blueprints, and technical documentation.Physical capability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in active field environments.Enrolled in or graduate of a formal electrical trade school or apprenticeship program.Prior experience working on commercial ground-up construction or controls projects.OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety certification.Competitive hourly pay rate with regular opportunities for performance-based advancement.Weekly pay cycle and potential for overtime compensation.Comprehensive 401(k) retirement savings program with employer matching.Full medical insurance coverage and access to a Health Savings Account (HSA).Generous paid time off, including accrued vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays.Paid parental leave covering both maternity and paternity needs.Provided uniforms, essential safety gear, and access to paid training programs.Regular team events, performance promotions, contests, and annual company outings.LumaNation Electric is a premier electrical and controls contractor focused on professionalism, quality execution, and long-term relationships.
