Apprentice / Journeyman Plumber
S&S Heating and Air Conditioning Broomall, PA Full-time $25-$30 per hour, based on experience

S&S Heating and Air Conditioning is looking for an Apprentice/Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team. You'll work alongside experienced plumbers on residential construction and renovation projects throughout the Greater Philadelphia area.
We're looking for someone with hands-on plumbing experience who shows up when they say they will, works well with a team, and is motivated to continue developing their skills.
What You'll Do Perform plumbing installation and related work on residential construction and renovation projects
Work alongside lead plumbers and other members of the team
Assist with plumbing for new construction, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, and remodeling projects
Read and follow plans, layouts, and job specifications
Install, repair, and modify plumbing systems and fixtures
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Follow applicable plumbing codes and company safety standards
Communicate effectively with your lead and other team members
Take ownership of assigned work and complete projects to a high standard
Continue developing your plumbing knowledge and technical skills
What We're Looking For Previous hands-on plumbing experience at the apprentice or journeyman level
Experience with residential construction or renovation plumbing preferred
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team
Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
Professional attitude and good communication skills
Valid driver's license
Willingness to continue developing your skills through training
A plumbing license or relevant trade-school training is a plus. S&S is committed to helping plumbers continue their education and development.
Tools & Equipment Employees provide their own standard hand tools
S&S provides larger specialty tools and equipment, including SDS tools, drain cleaners, cameras, and other large equipment
Apprentice/Journeyman plumbers ride with a Lead Plumber to job sites

Health & Dental Insurance: Three plan options, with S&S paying 90% of the base plan; available after 90 days
Short- and Long-Term Disability: S&S pays 100%; begins 60 days after start date
401(k): 3% company match after a 6-month waiting period
$30 monthly cell phone stipend
Overtime: Available at time and a half
