Join a dynamic healthcare facility in the Pacific Northwest region seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of building systems and equipment. This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, supporting a safe and efficient environment for staff and visitors.
Job Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, you will conduct inspections, troubleshoot minor equipment issues, and carry out repairs including carpentry, painting, and drywall work. You will respond to emergencies, complete work orders, and assist senior facilities personnel with more complex tasks. This position requires availability for on-call duties to support after-hours maintenance needs.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred: Minimum of 2 years' experience in facility maintenance.
Licenses and Certifications
Valid driver's license is required.
Skills and Abilities
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Calm and professional demeanor during emergencies or high-pressure situations.
Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and assignments.

Physical Requirements
This role involves frequent lifting and carrying of materials weighing up to 35 pounds, standing, walking, bending, and occasional exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Normal vision, hearing, and speech capabilities are necessary, with or without corrective devices.
