We are seeking a skilled Plumber to perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing systems, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with safety standards.General SummaryThe Plumber will handle repairs, installations, and maintenance of plumbing infrastructure, supporting various departments by prioritizing projects and maintaining detailed documentation.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide timely updates and follow-ups to departments requesting plumbing services.Perform general plumbing repairs and installations as needed, including preventive and corrective maintenance.Prioritize maintenance projects to meet facility needs and regulatory compliance.Monitor and document progress, costs, safety issues, and compliance related to plumbing tasks.Plan plumbing work, including estimating supply and labor costs.Communicate and coordinate with users and management regarding repair and financial aspects of maintenance projects.Adhere strictly to all safety standards and maintain clean, organized work and storage areas.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory codes.EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical or vocational training in plumbing is necessary.ExperienceMinimum of two years of commercial plumbing experience required.CertificationsMedical Gas Certification and Backflow Certification are preferred but not mandatory.Mental and Physical RequirementsMust be able to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 75 lbs.
