Apprentice PlumberThe Apprentice Plumber assists licensed plumbers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The Apprentice works under direct supervision and is expected to learn state plumbing codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.What We Offer:Competitive salary based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurance401K with company matchPaid time off with holidaysOpportunities for professional growth and developmentWhat You'll Do:Assist with installation of water supply, drainage, and gas piping systemsHelp install plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, faucets, and water heatersMeasure, cut, and assemble pipes using hand and power toolsLoad and unload materials and maintain organized job sitesFollow blueprints and basic construction drawings under supervisionMaintain tools and equipment in good working conditionFollow all Texas plumbing codes and OSHA safety requirementsProvide courteous and professional interaction with customers and team membersParticipate in ongoing training and skill developmentQualifications:2 year of plumbing or construction experience preferred but not requiredActive Apprentice Plumber registration with the Texas State Board of Plumbing ExaminersHigh school diploma or GED preferredBasic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learnAbility to use basic hand toolsValid Texas driver's license preferredAbility to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments (heights, confined spaces, outdoor conditions)Skills & Competencies:Strong work ethic and positive attitudeDependable and punctualWillingness to follow direction and learn from experienced plumbersGood communication skillsCommitment to safety and quality workmanshipWork Environment:Work is performed on construction sites, residential homes, and commercial buildings. The role involves exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required depending on project needs.Career Development:This entry-level role provides structured on-the-job training and mentorship to build foundational plumbing skills and prepare the Apprentice for advancement toward Journeyman licensing in Texas.
