Nurse Practitioner - Hospital Setting

Deliver Patient Care:
Perform comprehensive physical assessments and gather patient histories.
Diagnose a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging.
Develop and execute personalized treatment plans.
Prescribe medications, manage chronic illnesses, and provide follow-up care.
Patient Education and Support:
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and lifestyle changes.
Provide preventative services including wellness screenings and immunizations.
Offer guidance on long-term health management and self-care strategies.
Collaborate with Healthcare Teams:
Work alongside physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure coordinated treatment.
Participate in clinical discussions, case reviews, and treatment planning.
Support nursing staff and contribute to a positive, collaborative work culture.
Monitor Progress & Ensure Compliance:
Evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust plans as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation in EHR systems.
Stay current on medical best practices and comply with all healthcare regulations and privacy laws.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Inwood State.
Board Certification (e.g., FNP, AGNP, etc.) required.
BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience in primary care, urgent care, or specialty medicine preferred (new grads welcome).
Strong clinical judgment with a proactive, patient-focused mindset.
Excellent communication and cultural competency skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural setting.
