Job description
Service CoordinatorThe Service Coordinator is the first point of contact for customers that seek repair for their equipment. He/she must have good people skills and be able to multitask regularly. He/she is responsible for dispatching service jobs, rescheduling when necessary and finalizing the clerical part of the job.Field customer calls/emails and dispatch all service techniciansPost time daily and input into payroll systemOpen and close all work orders for service techniciansIssue PO numbers for field service technicians and all non-shop job needs, keep track of open PO's, and receipt-in when invoices arriveProcess credit card payments when necessaryProcess filing of closed work ordersSet up all new PM contracts in NDSInput all amendments for PM's in NDSRun monthly reportsRun PM list on the 1ST and 15TH of each month and give to designated technicianMonitor all open work ordersMaintain Dispatch LogSkills/ResponsibilitiesBasic computer skills: typing, NDS, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, etc.Ability to work with customers/excellent customer service skills, personableOpen/close workordersMaintain dispatch logInput technician hours into payroll systemMaintain purchase order system for vendor purchasesCoordinate techniciansWork Experience Requirements2-3 years relevant experienceEducation/Certification/License RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDWork Conditions/Physical DemandsThis position is in an office setting where the noise level is generally quiet to sometimes moderate if working near the shop area. Employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. Employee must have normal manual dexterity and be able to effectively manipulate keyboard and phone.
