Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region, providing comprehensive physical therapy services designed to help patients achieve their optimal functional levels. This full-time day position involves planning, implementing, and evaluating physical therapy care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Job Summary
As a Physical Therapist, you will conduct patient intakes and evaluations, develop individualized care plans, prescribe treatments, and educate patients on their therapy goals. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential to ensure holistic patient care. You will monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide guidance to caregivers for safe home care.
Responsibilities
Deliver thorough physical therapy services across various care settings.
Develop and update treatment plans based on patient assessments and progress.
Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, safety, and equipment use.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with healthcare standards.
Engage in continuing education to stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Education and Experience
Clinical doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
Preferred: At least one year of physical therapy practice experience.
Licenses and Certifications
Current, unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy in Washington State.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Skills and Abilities
Strong understanding of therapy theories and clinical concepts.
Excellent communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proficient in maintaining accurate documentation and patient records.
Critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry varying weights, stand, walk, bend, and perform other physical activities as required by patient care.
