APT | Licensed Physical Therapy AssistantBroadway, NC $48,009 - $62,099 a yearFull TimeSign-On Bonus: $10,000Join a dedicated team providing exceptional physical therapy services across a prominent regional healthcare network in the Southeastern United States. This full-time day position involves treating patients referred for physical therapy, contributing to quality patient care, and supporting departmental and organizational goals.Role SummaryAs a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, you will apply your knowledge and skills effectively within a team-oriented environment. Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills are essential to quickly assess situations and respond appropriately. You will work collaboratively to enhance patient outcomes and uphold the mission and values of the department.Education & CertificationMust hold a current license from the Physical Therapy Board.CPR certification is required.FIM credentialing must be obtained within the first 45 days of employment, with a minimum proficiency score of 80%. Three attempts are allowed to pass the credentialing test.Experience & TrainingExperience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings is preferred.Training in evacuation procedures, restraints, seclusions, and safety devices is mandatory.Physical & Communication RequirementsAbility to communicate effectively in oral and written forms, as well as visually assess patient status.Must demonstrate proper body mechanics when examining or delivering care.Capability to transfer and transport patients of varying body weights and compositions.Physical stamina to frequently stand, bend, stoop, lift, turn, twist, sit, and walk.Proficiency in using and manipulating therapy equipment.This role offers a warm, collaborative environment where your skills will directly impact patient recovery and quality of life in a vibrant Southeastern regional healthcare setting.
