Physical Therapist - Acute Care Days
Join a dedicated team providing exceptional physical therapy services across a comprehensive regional healthcare network in the Southeastern United States. This full-time, day-shift role focuses on acute care patients, offering opportunities to work in diverse clinical settings including inpatient and outpatient environments.
Role Overview: You will evaluate and treat patients referred for physical therapy, applying your expertise to improve patient outcomes. Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team is essential, as is a commitment to quality care and continuous professional development.
Education & Credentials: Must hold a valid Physical Therapy license from the appropriate state board. FIM credentialing is required within the first 45 days of employment, with a minimum proficiency score of 80%. Clinical staff must complete training in evacuation procedures, restraint, seclusion, and safety devices.
Experience & Skills: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are necessary to assess patient needs quickly and respond effectively. Physical demands include the ability to transfer and transport patients, use proper body mechanics, and operate therapy equipment safely.
