Salary will be $30.00-$33.00 per hour (based on experience)

nnAbout the Role
nEasterseals is seeking a passionate and dedicated Float4Life Instructor to deliver life-saving drowning prevention services to children and families in our community. This role provides one-on-one, individualized float lessons at indoor and outdoor pool locations, with a focus on children including those with special needs.

n nnA snapshot of what you'll do:
nnDeliver personalized Float4Life instruction using evidence-based techniques
nManage a caseload of clients , including scheduling and service coordination
nTrack progress and document milestones after each lesson
nCollaborate with families to support water safety and skill development
nMaintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free pool environment , including basic pool upkeep and equipment checks
nUse tools such as iPads, computers, and documentation systems to record services
nEnsure confidentiality and compliance with all privacy standards
nParticipate in continuous improvement efforts and assist with program needs as assigned
nWork actively in the water for extended periods (up to 5 hours), supporting and physically assisting children during instruction
n nQualifications:
nnCPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (required)
nExperience working with young children, including those with special needs (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder)
nAbility to lift and carry children up to 50 pounds and safely move in a pool environment (kneeling, crouching, reaching)
nStrong verbal and written communication skills for documenting client progress and communicating with families
nValid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
nFloat4Life Certification (or willingness to obtain after hire)
nPrevious aquatic instruction or therapy experience
