Join Our Summer Camp Aquatics Team!
nCamp Watchaug | Charlestown, RI | Summer 2026
nSpend your summer on the water at Camp Watchaug, located right on scenic Watchaug Pond! We’re hiring passionate and safety-minded Aquatics Staff for the 2026 summer season:
nnLifeguards
nBoating Director
nWaterfront Director
n nSeasonal Commitment:
nJune–August | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM
n(Some flexibility available)
nQualifications:
nnMust be 15+ (Director roles preferred 21+)
nCurrent RI Surf or Non-Surf Lifeguard certification (or ability to obtain before start)
nCPR/First Aid & Boating Safety certifications required for some roles
nStrong swimmer with experience supervising aquatic activities
nComfortable leading, teaching, and ensuring safety around water
nPrior waterfront/camp experience strongly preferred for directors
