Job description
New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking a Collections Specialist for a client located in Waco, TX to join our team. This is a contract opportunity lasting 3-6 months.
Pay: $18 per hour
Schedule: Onsite, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Overview:
The Collections Specialist is responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable related to equipment rentals, sales, and services. This role supports cash flow goals while maintaining positive and professional customer relationships.Key Responsibilities
Manage assigned accounts receivable and aging reports
Contact customers to collect past-due balances via phone and email
Resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
Post payments and maintain accurate account records
Document collection activities and follow up as needed
Collaborate with sales and operations regarding customer accounts
Ensure compliance with company credit and collection policies
Qualifications
Strong computer skills and high data entry accuracy
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Previous customer service experience required
Collections experience is a plus
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to change
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
