Woods & Co Recruitment has partnered with a globally recognized architectural manufacturing company known for delivering high-performance ceiling and interior solutions used in some of the most prestigious commercial buildings around the world.
The company is expanding its U.S. presence and is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative to drive specification sales across the New York market. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys working closely with architects, designers, contractors, and developers to bring innovative building solutions into major projects.
With strong brand recognition in the architecture and design community, this is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a regional territory and play a key role in driving project specifications from concept through construction.

What do you do?
Drive specification sales by ensuring products are selected during the design phase of major construction projects
Develop and manage relationships with architects, specifiers, contractors, and project stakeholders across your region
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through meetings, presentations, and industry networking
Manage and maintain a strong pipeline of projects using CRM tools such as Salesforce
Collaborate with internal estimating and technical teams to produce project proposals and pricing
Review architectural drawings and project documentation to identify specification opportunities
Develop a strong understanding of the company’s product systems and how they integrate into construction projects
Monitor market activity, competitor products, and industry trends to inform sales strategy
Mentor and support junior members of the sales team where required
What do you need?
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction documentation
Experience in specification sales, construction sales, or architectural products
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Highly motivated with the ability to manage a sales territory independently
Technical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
Willingness to travel within the New York region for client meetings and project visits
