In this role, you'll work as a galvanized member of an elite team of security operators protecting some of our nation's most critical assets. You will be part of the comprehensive security solution to protect ours and visiting nations' diplomats across multiple locations in the United States.QualificationsBe a minimum of 21 years of ageMust be a citizen of the United StatesPossess a high school diploma or GED equivalentAbility to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearanceFluent in both the written and spoken English languagePossess a valid United States driver's license (non-provisional)You must have at least one of the qualifications below to qualify for the opportunity (All experience will be verified through a background check)(1) year of armed commercial security experienceOr (5) years of unarmed commercial security experienceOr minimum of (3) years of active military service at an E4 rank or higher with an honorable discharge (all military service must end with an honorable discharge)(1) year of law enforcement or military police experience - not to include any academy trainingBachelor's degree in any field. (Must be obtained in the U.S. or have U.S. Equivalency)Or associate's degree in criminal justice plus (1) year of commercial security experienceWork Environment and Schedule • Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors. • Position requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities. • Open availability Nights, Weekends, Holidays and overtime as directed (overtime occurs). • Work various shifts and Holidays as assigned. • Must maintain flexibility regarding job assignments and locations. • Time flexibility depending on the needs of the company.Veterans Inter-Con is passionate about hiring veterans.
